Act 1 – The Setup
Rudra is disillusioned with his job and marriage. He owes money to local goons. His wife Madhu is having an affair with a powerful local politician, Pandey Ji.
Rudra teams up with his friend Chunnilal (Sagar Goyal) and plans to kidnap Sakshi, the daughter of a wealthy businessman, for ransom. The kidnapping is amateurish but initially successful.
Act 2 – Complications
Sakshi is not a typical victim — she’s sharp, manipulative, and starts playing psychological games with Rudra. Meanwhile, the police investigation intensifies, and Rudra discovers that Sakshi’s father is connected to Pandey Ji’s criminal network.
Madhu becomes suspicious of Rudra’s absences. A side plot reveals that Sakshi had planned her own kidnapping to escape an abusive home. Apharan Web Series 1 --39-LINK--39-
Act 3 – Unraveling
Trust breaks between Rudra and Chunnilal. Chunnilal is killed by Pandey Ji’s men. Rudra goes on the run with Sakshi. Madhu betrays Rudra to save herself. Rudra Srivastava (Arunoday Singh) is a straight-edged, middle-aged police officer in Uttar Pradesh, stuck in a mundane life and a strained marriage.
