Raster Design 2021 is not a standalone application. It runs as an add-in on top of a compatible version of AutoCAD. You must have one of the following already installed:
Critical Note: The version must match exactly. Raster Design 2021 will NOT work with AutoCAD 2020 or 2022.
Here is where most decisions matter.

| “Installation failed” | Ensure AutoCAD 2021 is installed and working first. |
| Raster Design tab missing | Run APPLOAD → check RasterDesign.arx is loaded. |
| License error | Use License Manager (LMTOOLS) if network license. For single-user, sign out/in of Autodesk desktop app. |
| Extraction fails | Run installer again as Admin, disable antivirus temporarily. |

Open AutoCAD and run ABOUT command. In the dialog, look for "AutoCAD Raster Design 2021" under Product License Information.
If missing, run FlexNet License Finder (from Windows Start Menu > Autodesk) and re-enter your serial and product key. Critical Note: The version must match exactly
