1. Download and Prepare the Tool
Download the Epson L386 Adjustment Program. Most of these files come in a .rar or .zip archive. Extract the files to a folder on your desktop. Note: Some versions may require a license key to unlock the "Particular Adjustment Mode."
2. Run the Program
Look for the AdjProg.exe file and run it as Administrator (right-click > Run as Administrator).

4. Enter Adjustment Mode Once the utility opens, click on "Particular Adjustment Mode".
5. Find the Reset Option Look under the "Maintenance" section. You will see an option labeled "Waste Ink Pad Counter". Select this and click OK. wait a few seconds
6. Initialize the Reset You will see a screen with a button that says "Check" and one that says "Initialization".
7. Finalize The program will prompt you to turn the printer off. Turn the printer off, wait a few seconds, and turn it back on. You should see a confirmation that the process is complete. epson l386 ink pad reset
8. Test Print a test page to ensure the error is gone and the printer is functioning normally.
