Before downloading anything, you must identify your current build. The BLACKVIEW Tab 50 Kids has had several minor revisions. Installing the wrong firmware can permanently damage the device (hard brick).

How to check your current version:

Known firmware variants (as of 2025):

Warning: Do not use firmware from the standard BLACKVIEW Tab 50 (non-Kids). The Kids version has a different display driver and a modified kernel for the "Eye Protection" mode.

For technicians or users requiring a complete wipe/unbricking, the UNISOC T606 chipset requires the SP Flash Tool (Smart Phone Flash Tool).

This is the standard method for end-users. Firmware BLACKVIEW Tab 50 Kids

Step 1: Install Drivers Disable Windows Driver Signature Enforcement (on Windows 10/11). Run the MTK driver installer as Administrator. Reboot your PC.

Step 2: Launch SP Flash Tool Extract the SP Flash Tool folder and run flash_tool.exe as Administrator.

Step 3: Load the Scatter File

Step 4: Configure the Tool

Step 5: Connect the Tablet

Step 6: Wait for the Green Tick The progress bar will turn yellow (downloading), then red, then purple. When you see a green checkmark, the flash is complete. Unplug the tablet and press the power button. | Tool | Purpose | |------|---------| | SP
