Chronicles V02 Jollythedev New - Gazonga

Volume 02 introduces the "Chronicle Log." This is an immutable append-only log that tracks state transitions not just for persistence, but for real-time synchronization across client nodes.

Having spent roughly eight hours with the Gazonga Chronicles v02 JollyTheDev new build, the answer is a resounding yes—with one asterisk.

The Good:

The Asterisk: Version 0.2 introduces a few new bugs. Occasionally, the dialogue will display the wrong character portrait (intentionally? unintentionally? With JollyTheDev, you never know). JollyTheDev has already tweeted that a hotfix (v0.2.1) is due within 48 hours.

He snapped his fingers. The sky turned yellow. A giant cursor blinked where the moon should be.

If you die to the same puzzle three times, the game doesn't just offer an easy mode. A new NPC appears—literally a floating JollyTheDev avatar—who says, "Buddy, you're struggling. Want me to just tell you the code?" It’s merciful but humiliating. Players love it.
