The app continuously reads sensor data from the Android sensor hub (low-power microcontroller). It applies threshold-based logic:

For drivers, this is a lifesaver. When the phone detects the motion profile of a moving vehicle (consistent vibration and angle), it can override sleep settings to keep the screen on for navigation, then automatically shut off when the car stops.
