As of my last update, the current and recommended firmware versions for the FortiGate 60E are within the FortiOS 7.x series. However, for the latest and most accurate information, including the exact version number (e.g., 7.2.5 or 7.4.0), I recommend checking directly on the Fortinet Support website.
Currently known latest (from late 2025):
FortiOS-7.4.8 is the last highly stable build for 60E.
FortiOS-7.6.2 exists but is not recommended for production on 60E.
