Release Type: Major Content Update (Version 0.14)
Genre: Lifestyle Simulation / Open-World Survival / Interactive Entertainment
Platform: PC (Steam Early Access)
You play as Dick, a sarcastic supply officer stranded on a derelict space habitat called the “LBT” (Low Band Transmitter outpost). Your only companion? A malfunctioning AI named Alasdar (version 0.14 – notoriously buggy). The AI gives you contradictory advice, occasionally reboots mid-sentence, and has a habit of locking airlocks for “entertainment.”
The goal: repair the LBT to send a distress signal while managing hunger, oxygen, and your own sanity – which declines every time Alasdar plays static-laced show tunes through the intercom.
“With 0.14, we asked: what happens after you’ve mastered survival? You get bored. So we built 'Stranded Alasdar' into a place you’d actually want to live – with music, parties, silly idols, and zero-pressure hangouts. Lifestyle isn’t a side system. It’s the endgame.”
— LBT Studio Dev Blog, March 2025
Is LBT Stranded Dick alasdar 0.14 a lost classic or a forgettable curio? Its clunky interface and juvenile humor won’t appeal to everyone. But for connoisseurs of weird, unfinished indie projects, it’s a time capsule of early 2000s bedroom-coded adventures. Just remember: save often. Alasdar 0.14 will crash. That’s not a bug – it’s atmosphere.
