The ETABS engineering community has found that Driver version 7.60 is the most stable for Error 30.
If you are using a Network License (floating license on a server), Error 30 usually means the client cannot find the server's IP address or hostname.
If a Windows update caused Error 30, residual registry keys are the problem.
Do not download the latest Sentinel drivers from Thales. ETABS 2016 is old software; the latest generic drivers are often too new.
