Lovely Craft Piston Trap Wiki Free Official
The Lovely Craft Piston Trap is a simple yet effective automatic trap designed to capture or eliminate hostile mobs (Creepers, Zombies, Spiders) and sometimes unwary players in multiplayer mode. Unlike standard fall traps, the piston trap relies on sudden block displacement to push targets into a kill chamber or pit.
Go to Layer 2 (one block below the surface). Place 4 Sticky Pistons facing upward in a 2x2 grid.
Instead of leaving Layer 1 empty, place Lava or Cactus at the bottom. The pistons will retract, drop the mob into the hazard, then extend back up (hiding the evidence).

In modded environments like Lovely Craft, traps often use blocks that appear innocent but hide pistons.
A trap where the floor is made of pistons.
Absolutely. For any player moving beyond the dirt hut phase, the Lovely Craft Piston Trap is the gold standard for automated defense. It requires no maintenance, works on almost every mob type (excluding flying Phantoms), and adds a layer of engineering satisfaction to your world.
