NComputing has since shifted focus to newer products and Windows 10/11, but legacy downloads still exist. Here is where to find the authentic software.
The NComputing X550 software for Windows 7 remains a functional but aging solution for legacy thin client deployments. If you have an existing Windows 7 infrastructure that cannot migrate due to proprietary software dependencies, the steps above will help you keep it running smoothly. However, given Microsoft’s discontinuation of security updates for Windows 7 and NComputing’s discontinued support for the X550, we strongly recommend planning a migration to either a supported Windows 10/11 host with newer NComputing hardware (such as RX series) or a pure software-based VDI platform.
For archival purposes, always keep a copy of the vSpace Pro installer for Windows 7 on offline storage. And remember that any production environment still using this combination should be isolated from the internet and backed up regularly.
