If you just need to get a frequency into a channel quickly, follow these steps:

Press [MANUAL]: Select the channel number you want to program. Press [PROG]: This puts the scanner into programming mode.

Enter Frequency: Use the number pad to type the frequency (e.g., 162.550). Press [ENTER]: This saves the frequency to that channel. Would you like help identifying the original brand

Press [SCAN] or [MANUAL]: To exit programming and begin listening.

Note: This scanner is an older analog model. It cannot pick up modern digital, trunked, or encrypted radio systems used by many modern police and fire departments.

Compatibility
