Nitro Pro 9 Activation [ 2026 Release ]

Assuming you have a clean installation of Nitro Pro 9 and a valid internet connection, follow these steps:

Step 1: Launch Nitro Pro 9. If you are in trial mode, you will see a yellow banner at the top of the window that says "14 days left in your trial. Click here to activate."

Step 2: Click "Help" in the top menu bar, then select "Activate..." from the dropdown.

Step 3: A dialog box will appear. Enter your Serial Number exactly as it appears. Note that Nitro Pro 9 is case-sensitive regarding letters in the serial. Use capital letters where provided. Nitro Pro 9 Activation

Step 4: Enter the Email Address you used during the original purchase. This is required. If you enter a different email, the Nitro servers may reject the activation even if the serial is correct.

Step 5: Click "Activate Online." A spinning circle will appear. Wait 5–10 seconds.

Step 6: Success Screen. You will see "Thank you for activating! Nitro Pro 9 is now licensed to [Your Name]." Click Close. Assuming you have a clean installation of Nitro

Step 7: Restart Nitro Pro 9. The yellow banner should be gone, and all editing tools will be enabled.

Why this happens: You bought a key from a third-party reseller (eBay, G2A, random forum) that was originally generated with a stolen credit card or distributed illegally.

The Fix: There is no fix. Nitro blacklists these keys permanently. You must purchase a legitimate license. (Note: Nitro no longer sells version 9. You would need to buy a modern version or find a legal second-hand transfer). Why this happens: You bought a key from

Why this happens: Nitro has depreciated the SSL certificates for version 9. Your modern Windows 10 or 11 is trying to use a security protocol (TLS 1.2/1.3) that Nitro’s old server doesn't understand.
