Before diving into answers, let’s clarify the material. Schritte international Neu is a six-level course (A1.1 to B1.2) for adults and young adults.
The workbook (Arbeitsbuch) contains hundreds of exercises: gap-fills, sentence scrambles, listening comprehension, and writing tasks. Without the official answer key, you can easily reinforce errors.
Open the answer key. Compare your answers.
Example of a good correction:
Wrong: "Ich möchte ein Brötchen kaufen." (You wrote: Ich möchten...) Correct Answer: Ich möchte ein Brötchen kaufen. Your Explanation: "möchten" is actually the subjunctive of "mögen" and is only used in the ich/er/sie/es forms as "möchte". For ich, it's "möchte" (not möchten).
For every wrong answer, go back to the grammar table (usually at the end of the Schritte book). Write the grammar rule three times.
Many tutors have made flashcard sets that function as answer keys. Search “Schritte international Neu A1.2 Lösungen” on Quizlet. Be cautious—user errors exist. Cross-check with Hueber’s official PDF.
