Test Drive Unlimited (TDU) Platinum Patch Update 1.21 is an incremental update for the massive, fan-made "Platinum" modification.

Developed by the community on TurboDuck, the Platinum mod expands the classic 2006 open-world racing game into a massive simulation with over 900 vehicles, custom physics, and modern visuals. TDU Platinum is renowned for its graphical enhancements over the vanilla game. Patch 1.21 refines the visual experience.

Before we dive into the patch specifics, it is crucial to understand the scope of this mod. TDU Platinum replaces the vanilla game's vehicle database (around 100 cars) with over 450 highly detailed vehicles. It introduces realistic weather patterns, a new GPS route system, overhauled traffic AI, and support for modern steering wheels (Fanatec/Thrustmaster).
