Coreldraw.txr Could Not Be Found: Texture File
If the error keeps popping up every time you open a specific file or use the Texture Fill tool, you need to replace the missing file.
Step 1: Check if the file is actually there.
Navigate to this folder (paste this into File Explorer):
C:\Users\[YourUserName]\AppData\Roaming\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite \[Your Version]\Draw
Look for a file named coreldraw.txr. If it’s missing, proceed to Step 2. texture file coreldraw.txr could not be found
Step 2: Borrow a fresh copy.
Corel keeps a backup master copy inside the program folder. Navigate to:
C:\Program Files\Corel\CorelDRAW Graphics Suite \[Your Version]\Languages\EN\Data (Replace "EN" with your language code, e.g., FR for French).
Step 3: Copy and Paste.
Copy the coreldraw.txr file from the Program Files folder and paste it back into the Draw folder in AppData\Roaming. If the error keeps popping up every time
Step 4: Restart CorelDRAW. Launch the software again. The error should be gone.
If you need to preserve the original texture exactly as designed, you need to put the coreldraw.txr file back where CorelDRAW expects it. Restart CorelDRAW and reopen your file
Pro Tip: If you can’t find the original file, try searching online for "CorelDRAW default texture pack" or copying the
.txrfile from another computer with the same CorelDRAW version.
If you have the .MSI or .EXE installer file:
One of the most straightforward solutions is to reinstall CorelDRAW. This process ensures that all necessary files, including texture files, are properly installed.
Sometimes, resetting CorelDRAW to its default settings can resolve the issue.
